The movie 'Gravity' was talking about a story of two
brave astronauts. Their spacecraft didn't work and they wanted to fix it.
Unfortunately, they failed. The male astronaut Matt lost his life in saving the female's life. After that, the
female astronaut Ryan had to save her own life under the circumstance that she had to use a simple
spacecraft to go back to the Earth. She tried many times but she failed. When she almost gave up, the
image of the soul of dead Matt appeared in front of her and he inspired her so that Ryan became eager
to go back to the Earth again. Finally, she made it.
When I was watching the movie, I was
very touched by the spirits shown by the two astronauts who took risks of
completing the missions with great courage. Matt lost his own life in saving
Ryan's and the scene of their bidding adieu to each other touched me
deeply in the heart. At that time, I realized how great some people are as
they devote all their life to their causes. I have to say I hadn't known
the work of an astronaut could be so dangerous before watching
this movie.
Besides being touched, I was inspired
much by the craving for life shown by Ryan. Sometimes people easily lose
their hopes for life and they just stop struggling from fate. But Ryan didn't
give up herself and she just thought about how to survive and did all what
she could do to save her own life. After watching the movie, I asked
myself whether or not I would do the same things and have the same firm belief
as Ryan had if I meet the same problems. Then I hesitated to have an
positive answer. But now, I can say I will never give up my belief in
being alive until the last minute because I recall the scene that the soul of
Matt encouraged Ryan to fight for herself and never give up. That really
inspires me.
Also, I have to say that
it seemed to be a little hard for me to believe that Ryan could survive in such
a dangerous and unassisted condition because the story happened in the
space and she succeeded in returning to the Earth all by herself. But
maybe it's just why it is called a movie. The uniqueness of movie is just
that everything could happen in a movie.
Although the story is a little
bit hard to believe, the most impressive parts are the spirits and
courage shown by the actors. For me, the 'Gravity' is amazing and, as a 3D
movie, the visual effects are excellent . It's really a
worth-watching movie.
